Directions for Playing

1. Number your paper from 1 to 30.

2. Select the number that you want to guess and click that number.

3. Read the first clue. If you have no idea who the mystery person is, then read another clue.

4. You should also go to Research Links in order to read about the different people who are in the game. The names of the men and women in this game are listed below. Scroll down to view.

5. After you have checked your research and think you are ready to guess the identity, write down your guess on your paper beside the corresponding number.

6. Finally, send Mrs. Regner an e-mail message telling me the name of the person you wish to guess, his or her number on the gameboard, and the number of clues that you used.

7. The object of the game is to see how many men and women you can identify using as few clues as possible. More important, this game is meant to be a fun way to learn about the early history of our nation. Good luck!
